Astrum Nival and Gala-Net, Inc. announced today that the first North American closed beta test for Allods Online has begun.

Allods Online is an award-winning massively multiplayer online role-playing game based on the internationally popular Rage of Mages property.  It takes place in a unique universe combining traditional fantasy with a science fiction twist.  The embattled planet Sarnaut has broken into mysterious islands and continents.  Called allods, they now float in the Astral, a constantly changing, dangerous magical space with a life of its own and many great unknowns, including the lurking presence of Astral Daemons.
